Based on Actual Television Shows

Greetings Cinescapers! Boy, I must confess that I can't get enough of these Labor Day weekends. Shame they only happen once a year. Isn't it interesting that we need something like a Labor Day weekend to remind us how awful labor is? Perhaps we should all take a lesson from my Uncle Frank and become unemployment leeches feasting off that great cash cow, the State.

Great guy that Uncle Frank. As my mother always says, "You know with Uncle Frank and his visits, whatever is in the house that isn't locked up is going to be sold on the street for crack."

Regardless, he's happy, and you know what? I'm happy too. Why? Well you may not care, but if you do it's because we've got a lot of television to look at this week. With so many options you'd think there wasn't enough time in the day to see everything, and you'd be right. That's why we all need to quit our jobs.

Have you ever quit your job in order to watch more television? Tell me about it at TVWasteland@cinescape.com.
