Batman: Arkham Origins Trailer

Full E3 Gameplay Trailer

Here is the full E3 Batman: Arkham Origins. Sadly that is not Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill back in their classic roles. According to Origins Senior Producer Ben Mattes told Joystiq, "We've got Roger Craig Smith, he's our Batman. Troy Baker, he's our Joker. Kevin Conroy, he's not part of this game."

Synopsis: Batman: Arkham Origins is an upcoming video game being developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 video game consoles, and Microsoft Windows. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2011 video game Batman: Arkham City, and the third installment in the Batman: Arkham series. The game's main storyline is set five years before that of 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum and follows a younger and less refined Batman who becomes the target of assassins on Christmas Eve.

It is scheduled for release on October 25, 2013.

A spin-off game, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, is scheduled for release alongside Arkham Origins for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

So this one sets up why Arkham was created in the first place. Thats definetly Mark Hamills voice as the Joker, also Kevin Conroys as Batmans. SO this may be the last chapter, Arkam city really closed the chapter on that series.

That is definitely NOT Mark Hamill or Kevin Conroy.  Both sound similar to their previous counterparts though.  The voice actors are not really a big deal for a video game in my opinion, anyway.

Game looks good, I'll definitely check it out.  I'm not a big gamer, but have enjoyed the Arkham series.  Maybe Rocksteady is secretly working on a Justice League follow up to Arkham City.  Would love to have one of these types of games with the big 7 of the JL as playable characters, not just Batman.

Don't know why I couldn't post both of my above comments in the same post.  That was annoying.

there could easily be a follow up to arkham city, using hush as the villian.

That's definitely not mark hamill and kevin conroy.

I like the voice actor playing Black Mask. Very full, very hearty rendition. He would've been awesome in the 1990's Batman Animated series if they had ever introduced the character.

Bane looks better, but what is it with people not seeing his face?

This seems to happen in all the animated versions, but in the comics he only wore the mask when he was in a fight, the rest of the time he was mask free...
...And his name is... BANE!

BunyonSnipe 6/18/2013 2:47:56 PM

And technically he is half Latino...

:P
