After several quiet months from ADV Films, the announcements continue in a different venue once again and it's worth talking about as it shows what the company is actively working on. The Sentai Filmworks announcements came last week where they picked up some previously released titles from other companies to offer again (which has happened with some ADV Films titles before, such as Lost Universe ending up at Nozomi Entertainment). This week, it's about the Switchblade Pictures partner who has a number of live action titles planned for the holidays with twelve films being released one a week starting in November. These are pretty varied and they should do well in the busy fourth quarter market where creative titles and attractive cover art will grab eyes along Best Buy shelves:
