Personally, given casting choices as well as the characters presented in the films, I would rather no one adapted previous stories. It only leads to disappointment.
I thought Bishop as well when I saw this. While he was not present in the comic arc (that was about 12 years before his time) he was present in the animated series version of it.








As a casual X-men fan I thought Singer's previous X-men films were very entertaining. However, I can appreciate how hardcore fans (those who read the comics) might be disappointed with how loosely the subject matter was handled. I'll never accept Nolan's / Ledger's interpretation of "the Joker."
Can we at least agree that Singer was wise to get some of the X-men out of those ridiculous costumes they wore in the books.
I guess it's an open debate on whether Superhero movies should faithfully replicate the comics from whence they came or if in the interest of telling a good story it's acceptable to take risks and depart from the comic's mythos.
