SMALLVILLE producers talk GRAYSONS - Oct 02, 2008 - 12:55pm
DarkXid...why are you watching it if you are tired of it? Anyways... They should do a show based on the faux trailer "Grayson". Put it years later and have him investigate the death of Batman. They could pull 1 season out of that whole trailer, and have 2 or even 3 more seasons of him trying to live the legacy, the 4th season he could become Nightwing, and the last season he takes the cowl. It would be a different take on the Batman legend, but it would be a better ride that the weekly trapeze stunt gone wrong storyline. You throw in Jason Todd as the Red Hood, and even Tim Drake becoming Robin again when Grayson hits Nightwing, and you have a Show about Dick Grayson that could be one of those "Little shows that could" for CW. Either that, or let Sci-Fi get on board with it to cash in on the Batman Franchise while the iron is hot.

And the reason I actually GOT a PS3....Dazzler...get it. It's worth it. Between this, and TDK, it's already made it's money back for me...

I agree with you on Olivia. I'm kind of hoping she'll turn into a Clarice Starling on this show in fact. We haven't (to my recollection) had a strong female like that since Scully, and I guess even to some degree Scully had a bit more of an edge to her than was necessary. I'm not counting Sidney from Alias in this group, as theres a difference between a strong woman lead and an obvious attempt at a girl power show. I'm right there with you so far, and in fact, I'm guilty of still cheering on a show when it probably should be dead by now, a la Smallville. (Although, so far, this season is shaping up a bit better than last was at this time). I was there last year with Sarah Conner, and while not a GREAT show now, it does make me look forward to my Monday night viewing. To recap....I do hope Olivia has a point. You pick up that flag and I'll follow you into battle joey. If she doesn't and ends up being a little silver ball in a pinball game, then I'll turn on this show like Vader.
