Takei Confirms HEROES Plot Point

If you don't want to know any character plot points of HEROES, don't read this article. At the beginning of June, it was announced by Kring and Cast would be going on a "world tour" to pump the show. Superhero Hype asked Kring if George Takei's Mr. Nakamura character would be showing up again and would his powers be revealed?

Here's the answer Kring gave to Superhero Hype:

Q: Will we be seeing more of George Takei?
Kring:
Yes, we will see more of George Takei.

Q: Expanding on the "Generations" title, will we see more of the story with the Petrelli's mother and sort of this history?
Kring: The idea of "Generations," last year we set up this sort of sense that there was this other generation represented by the Linderman character and then Petrelli's mom and George Takei and Richard Roundtree's character. All of these characters set up the idea that there was another generation that had secrets of their own and this season one of those themes that we're going to talk about are the sins of the parents being visited upon the children. That's one of the themes, this idea of how generationally we are left with problems that we have to fix.

Q: Will we find out that George Takei has powers and what they are?
Kring: Yes, eventually.

Eventually? Yesterday, we got a confirmation from Takei himself that he would revealing his powers in Chapter 2 of HEROES.

While talking to Howard Stern and co-host Robin Quivers, he signal an official confirmation to this speculation by saying to the two hosts "We will see him displaying his powers this upcoming season..."

Thanks to Maniac scooper "Kaeos" for sending in the tip and not driving off the road while listening to his show.

Did Howard ask him to "show" him his "powers?"
"Yeah, lemme check those out."

I like the idea that there was another generation of heroes, and I'm sure Kring and Co. will find a way to blend the two generations together.

Isn't Takei's power his mellifluous voice? I think if you aren't careful he could hypnotize you into teh ghey.
