Aliens Colonial Marines: Story Trailer

Game Over Man!

Here is the story trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines. I personally played the game the game at Comic Con last July. It reminded me of Call of Duty and Left 4 Dead. Check out these visuals in the trailer. The game play is just as intense. And yes, you can play as the Aliens.

Official Synopsis: Aliens: Colonial Marines begins with an ostensibly abandoned ship, the U.S.S. Sulaco, recovered in orbit around LV-426. Players lead a group of highly trained United States Colonial Marines as they board the deserted craft to uncover the fate of the crew. They will have to fight to survive unspeakable horrors and their own anxieties as they chase down the truth behind a galaxy-spanning deception that places humanity at the mercy of the most murderous and deadly species in the universe. Aliens: Colonial Marines features authentic environments, such as the surface of LV-426 and Hadley's Hope, weapons inspired by the film series and is designed to provide an exhilarating and engaging new chapter in the Aliens universe.

The official 411 on Aliens: Colonial Marines:

YESSSSSSSSSSS . This is what some genious in Hollywood should of done. A Direct Sequel to Aliens. Least I'm going to get it so what if it's in video game form. I'll be able to play and enjoy.

Game over man ..Game over !

Didn't the colony on LV-426 get nuked when the reactor went boom at the end of Aliens? Oh well, still sounds cool.

@rogue188 - Yes it did. It is gone bye bye. But like you said, who cares? This game is going to hopefully kick huge ass.

As for the movies I always wished that they followed the comics that were made post Aliens. They had Newt, Ripley, and Hicks in them. Hicks had his face all burned like at the end of the Aliens movie. They even re-built Bishop. It was bad ass. =( Too bad. It was way better than Alien 3 and let's not even try to remember the steaming pile of crap that was Aliens 4.

I hope this game has good multi-player.  I lvoed me some multi-player on Aliens VS Predator.  Playing as a Marine was ROUGH.  But fun.

Just because it got nuked doesn't mean they can investigate still. Wreckage - things of that nature. It will be years after those events too.  The threat is still running wild on that planet.

Im glad there's no freakin predators in this game. It's purely Aliens and nothing else to mess with that epic face off . I only wish Hudson where still alive for this one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they blew up the atmosphere processor, correct? If I remember correctly, Hadley's Hope was quite a distance away from the site of the atmosphere processor. Enough of a distance to make it so even if there was a nuclear explosion, the colony itself could potentially survive. And from what I can tell from the trailer, there look to be xenos that are somehow "different", maybe mutated due to nuclear fallout? Of course, we do see the marines running around outside, so there is still the small mystery of how is the planet's air breatheable if there's no oxygen being produced by atmosphere processors. I have faith it'll all be explained nicely, especially since this game's been in production for half a decade.
