TRANSFORMERS 2 Has a New Title & Set Details - Jun 06, 2008 - 05:03pm
I wonder if this is going to be related to The Fallen from the comics. He was one of the "original" thirteen Transformers who betrayed Primus and sided with Unicron.
"Lost: Stranger in a Strange Land" - Feb 24, 2007 - 12:17am
I don't watch promos of ANYTHING for this reason as well as many others and I still think this was the worst. episode. ever.
Seriously. KILL Jack, Sawyer, and Kate. And Charlie too. The show would be ten thousand times better. Who are these people who like those characteres? I don't get it.
LOST/Heroes: A Commentary - Feb 12, 2007 - 03:16pm
LOST has fallen out of grace for me, but I can understand the point of view of the author except for the part about the end of "Not In Portland" being dramatic. That scene reeked of typical Evangline overacting to me and over-the-top ridiculousness with how every other character in all those scenes stopped in their tracks to stare in awe at either Kate or Jack.
I don't like this Heroes versus. LOST rivalry either and totally agree about it not being fair comparing a young show to a 2+ year veteran.
I'm so jaded by television series that as much as I love Heroes right now, I'm of the mind to not get my hopes up because I don't want to get burned again like I was with LOST. LOST was awesome in it's debut season.
So yeah, Heroes...I won't be surprised if by next season or the one after you suddenly start shaking a bunny or have random Clockwork Orange rooms of Drum N Bass. [robintunneyinempirerecords]Shock me! Shock me! Shock me![/robintunneyinempirerecords]
Chad Lowe joins 24 - Oct 11, 2006 - 09:22am
Relax. It came off as snarking to me, not complaining.
I'm Asian and I don't give a crap what racial diversity I see in anything. (It'd be nice if one week can go by without having to make that sort of qualifying statement.)
This Week's Premieres in Preview - Oct 02, 2006 - 06:08pm
Lost, Battlestar Gallactica and Veronica Mars...you covered the three most-anticipated shows for me personally this week! I can't emphasize enough how people need to be watching Veronica Mars, especially, amongst those three since it is the only one at risk of cancellation. It ISN'T a teen drama at all, which I think is the biggest hurdle it has in gaining viewership. I was guilty of assuming that and casting it off as another 90210/OC/Party of Five type of show and it's anything but and it took faith on the testimonials of trusted TV-viewing afficionados to change my tune. It's noir - it just happens to center around young people and no, not in a PBS Where in the World is Carmen San Diego isn't that cuuuute they're kids solving mysteries way.
Heath Ledger talks The Joker - Sep 09, 2006 - 01:35pm
Because at the time, Batman Returns garnered criticism for going darker and "weirder" to the general public so they made sure the next Batman movie would emphasize on action.
As for the Burton Superman...SEROIUSLY? A Superman who gets his powers (none of which are any of Superman's powers) from his transparent supersuit which lets you see his internal organs who drives a Supermobile...that Burton Superman? Also, they DID have a firm deal with Burton. It was in pre-production, the man got paid, his Super'man' got paid, blah blah.
My Grandson Was A Robot! - Sep 09, 2006 - 01:17pm
Sludge! I had two of him...the first one was broke because I was a petulant brat and I threw him out of anger because I couldn't transform his legs properly (this would also be the defining moment of when I learned that throwing away instruction manuals is dumb). Got the second one as a duplicate birthday present by accident, finally got to see the instructions and felt like a dumbass.
I love Sludge. I was never lucky enough to find a Grimlock and would pretend that Sludge was REALLY the Dinobot leader.
Bring back M.A.S.K.!!
