Tangerine Dream's Paul Haslinger scores CRANK and TURISTAS

Paul Haslinger, the composer who was a member of Tangerine Dream and is now scoring films on his own (UNDERWORLD, INTO THE BLUE), has two feature films and a computer game coming up on his schedule. The first one is called TURISTAS and is Haslinger's fifth collaboration with director John Stockwell their previous films together include BLUE CRUSH and CRAZY/BEAUTIFUL. TURISTAS is a thriller about a group of young backpackers who are marooned in the Brazilian jungle after a bus accident. Cast features Josh Duhamel, Melissa George, and Olivia Wade.
The other film Haslinger will be working on is called CRANK, an action thriller starring Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Efren Ramirez, and Dwight Yoakam. This film, which is produced by Lakeshore Entertainment and will be released by Lion's Gate in September, is directed by Mark Neveldine who is making his helming debut.
Finally, the computer game Haslinger has been signed to score is RAINBOW SIX: VEGAS, produced by Ubisoft.
