Tarantino to make more KILL BILL?

By: Karl Schneider
Date: Sunday, July 23, 2006
Source: Comic Con

At the Comic Com, Quentin Tarantino let it slip that he was interested in making two KILL BILL prequels.

He mentioned that the first prequel would be an anime origin film about Bill and his mentors.

The second would be another anime tale including The Bride.

Hopefully we will get more news shortly.

Spoiler Alert ... I guess ... ummmm ... if u havent seen Kill Bill 1/2 ... then don't read this ...

I thought there would be a sequel ... where Copperhead's (Vivica Fox) kid (Nikki) grows up and goes after Uma for killing her mom ...

irv, that was reported, but has never came to fruition.

Quentin said he wanted to make the third "Kill Bill" movie twenty years from the release of the last one, so the girl who played Copperhead's daughter could grow up and train. He may have been joking, but I did read that. I just can't remember where.

I heard about Quentin Tarantino's interest in doing an actual Kill Bill 3 that featured Copperhead's daughter growing up and seeking revenge, having become a student to Sofie Fatale, who got all of Bill's money after he died. She raised Nikki, who would later take on The Bride. Fatale believed that Nikki deserved her revenge every bit as much as The Bride deserved hers. Tarantino even thought of shooting a couple of scenes for it now so he could get the actresses while they're at their current ages. In turn, he hadn't planned on filming this sequel until fifteen years from now. It seems that the story has taken a different twist. Prequel or sequel, I'll still watch them. I liked the first two volumes, so another two should be just as good.

I think the anime prequels sound cool, I'm a big anime fan. Although shouldn't it be Bill and his henchmen, instead of "Bill and his mentors." I mean a anime with an animated Caradine, Fox, Lui, Hannah, Masden, and the Bride and their previous jobs as assasins would be cooler than a background story for Bill.

Also Tarantino should just do Kill Bill 3 now, and cast an older actress to play Copperheads daughter. Waiting 15-20 years to film a sequel, just so some kid actor who played a small part in the first film can play the same character over again is kinda dumb. I mean what if the kid is not even interested in doing the film in 15-20 years, if that is the case that would kill Tarantinos hopes for a Kill Bill 3.

Ill believe it when I see it. He also said he was going to make a Vega brothers prequel after he filmed Jackie Brown. Kill Bill was alright but he needs to ACTUALLY MAKE MOVIES!!! I know Grind House is coming out but come on. If Speiberg can put two films per year in the can, what is taking him so long? Is he out of juice? Because his time off between Jackie Brown and Kill Bill was a let down. I guess we'll see next summer.

I remember the days that we had just sequels, now companies need to bank off their movies and cannot put them at the end of the story, now they have to put them at the beginning. I am prequeled out.

I think tarantino is on eof the worse, most overrated movie maker out there. i saw kill bill part one and was bored out of my mind. the only people I have seen speak of how "cool" kill bill was after its initial release were middle/high schoolers who think blook and gore are the best. frankly i think that's what tarantino relies one. he comes up with great intriquet plot lines that if done correctly would come out great, but he just never seems to be able to pull it off.

Why not just have these little prequel things put into the long cut of Kill Bill that Tarantino has said will be coming out after Grindhouse?
And Irv, Tarantino has said that if there is another KIll Bill volume it will be 15 years later and during now and then he would want to film Uma and the little girl as they really age, ,thn he wants to place that footage into the real movie that would be made, so we'll see if that comes true, I hope it does.
