Update: Well, so much for the "Teaser today" theory. As you'll read below, OperationEarlyBird.com activated a countdown yesterday and when the clock ran down to zero, it pulled up a map which gives fans an option see which IMAX location in their area will be showing the six minute preview on December 13, 2011 at 10 PM. That's three days earlier than the day when it will be attached to the IMAX venues of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and there are free tickets being given away, but it's not the tease that fans were expecting today.

Original: A day after releasing "CIA" documents concerning Dr. Leonid Pavel (Alon Abutbul), the viral experts from Warner Bros. Pictures are ready to unleash an early bird special for fans looking forward to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.

With the six-minute prologue set to strike IMAX theaters next weekend, the studio has initiated a countdown clock at OperationEarlyBird.com. The announcement came via the Twitter feed TheFireRises.

The third and final installment from Christopher Nolan stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Josh Stewart, Christopher Judge, Adam Rodriguez and Rob Brown. Returning franchise screenwriters Jonathan Nolan and David Goyer penned the script.
