Here is a clear and crisp trailer for the 3D release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Does this look just like Transformers with turtles or what? Sound off below Maniacs!

Synopsis: The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I mean, they definitely look different. Doesn't mean that it will be bad, but the turtles HAVE to have more screen time than the Transformers. TMNT doesn't work that way. I'm afraid that this movie will take that route, however, introducing them slowly and once you see them in full, half the movie will be over. Either way, I'm excited to see the Splinter/Ben Kingsley/Mandarin. Haha shredder should be awesome as well.

Yeah, what I always thought TMNT needed was more massive set pieces with huge swaths of urban landscape exploding in CGI, totally what I think of when I think about ninjas.  Those swords cut through skyscrapers all the time.  Please MR. Bay, don't make me think, just let me stare at all the pretty explosions and Meagan Fox's butt.

Not impressed.  Some if it might would look cool if I could focus on any one image long engough.

So yeah, what Bob said, just like Transformers.

And just like the upcoming TF movie, I'm not going to pay to go see this...

Don't worry Millean I'll go watch both 2-3 times so we get more Bay movies!

DK I might rent this.  Megan looks pretty good.  Not sure I see anything transformery, but I do see a whole bunch of sily.

Nope still terrible.

ultrazilla2000 5/1/2014 5:45:15 PM

Looks fine.  It's not like the other Turtle movies were cinematic gold...

Good gravy, I just read my post.  I swear I'm educated, and really can spell & type properly when I want to. (And I meant to end that last sentence in a preposition just to be funny!)

Knock yourself out, therockdltj.  I like some of Bay's stuff.  Just not when he screws up pre-existing franchises.

I haven't made up my mind yet.  I'm sure I'll probably end up plopping my happy as in a seat for it though.  Perhpas on a $6 Tuesday night at Bowtie.  Depends on what I read on Rottentomatoes.
