Well it appears as if Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a cartoon. Is there anything real in this film? Sure... Megan Fox... but wait... Does this film look terrible or what? Who will risk the price of a movie ticket on this picture?

Synopsis: The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder's diabolical plan.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles features Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, William Fichtner, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeremy Howard, and Danny Woodburn. The film is directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arrives August 8, 2014.

Before I watched this trailer I actually wanted to see it. Now, not so much.

Those were some bad one-liners.

Wow. the action is SICK!!!!!!! The action and violence level is something i've always wanted to see with them in live action. Especially Leo and Raph were never able to really fight to their full potential due to their weapons being much more lethal and the soft PG ratings. but now....  >=)

And i thought they were pretty funny imo. They're the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Their jokes are meant for kids for the most part............ which is probably why i love them so much.

That does change my outlook for this movie a little...but I still think (HOPE) it will be worth watching.  I'm ok with comedy, but hopefully it won't be quite as pre-pubescent as Bay and his Crapformers.  I don't want to see any turtles humping April's leg or peeing on anyone.  No TMNT balls hanging out either.  The newest cartoon version my kids watch has a good ballance of seriousness and comedy.  Hope this is close!

Sanity- that animated TMNT is the best rendition of the turtles by far on screen (hilarious). But I dont really like how it's going too into the outrageous space crap with Krang. I like the gritty, more realistic street stories versus the Foot.

And I agree about your Bay humor though. I hope it's not too much 'Crapformers humor'... although i wouldnt mind seeing them hump April's leg. ..haha

I'm still saying that this is the bust of the summer, but parts of it do intrigue me.

And there go's another part of my childhood. Thanks Michael Bay! I didn't need it anyway!

They are just way too big.  And Leo looks like he just came in from a long lost tribe in Africa.

How the fuck does this take away from your childhood? If a movie can do that you need some serious mental help Xeno so please contact a psychiatrist to help you with those childhood trauma issues.

Wow, you don't usually see Mania writers slam a movie so hard before it even comes out.  That's really more my thing.  The horribly stereotyped dialogue reminds me of the Amos and Andy bots in Transformers 2.
