Sony has released their big plans for Comic Con 2013. The Sony Panel will be held Friday July 19th in Hall H. The exact time has not yet been reveled. Their two big presentations will be the Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the relaunch of RoboCop. Expect to see fan fair for Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2 and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, and Sally Field.

RoboCop stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman as the scientist who creates RoboCop, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Official Synopsis for RoboCop: In "RoboCop," the year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. At this panel, Sony will also probably announce Amazing Spiderman 4 for May 3rd 2020, Amazing Spiderman 5 for May 2nd 2022 and Amazing Spiderman 6 for May 5th 2024.

Cross our fingers!

I'm assuming you're joking ElBaz but just in case Sony already announced TAS3 and 4 for '16 and '18

Anyway I hope they have some TAS2 footage to show the world. Really dying to see how Rhino is going to look

LOL! Yeah I am. Forgot the smiley face.

Just making fun of those announcements.

I heard Rhino will be an armor of some time. I'm cool with that. As long as he has some resemblance to the character. Last thing I want is that Giamatti is called Rhino because that's his nickname. That's it.

I know a lot of people didn't like Amazing Spidey but I did. Garfield and Stone are much better leads than Maguire and Dunst. Love the fact Aunt May is not a frail old woman. Love mech shooters especially. The only thing I hated about this movie was the retelling of the origin again. Unecessary and could have been retold in the opening credits (like Incredible Hulk) or in a couple of flashbacks (like MOS).

I am actually getting excited for the re-make of Robocop. Everything they have shown has been bad ass. They only thing I worry about at this point is the script. They have six writers on the list of people for credits. That is a bit strange. I can understand 2-3 for re-writes on a script, but six? WTF?

As for Spiderman, the last one was not terrible but it was not super great either. I hope this one is better. If Sony is going to keep the rights for movie withe Spiderman I wish they would do a deal with Marvel. I am one that wants Spidey to appear in an Avengers movie.

Same here Axia.

They almost had something going in Avengers (Oscorp building) and the relationship between Marvel and Sony has been better than Fox.

If Robocop is rated R, I'll go see it.  If they wuss out and go for PG-13 as expected, I'll have no interest.

Wise - I'd be surprised if they have any cgi done for rhino in time for sdcc but lets hope so!

I'm probably in the minority here, but I absolutely loved AMS. It was WAY better than those silly song-and-dance cry-fests that Sam Raimi made. We finally got the intelligent, witty smart-ass Spidey that should have been in the first trilogy. Andrew Garfield was great, Emma Stone was FANTASTIC. I can't wait to see footage of the new one!
