Teresa Palmer Lands WONDER WOMAN Role?

The first JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA casting announcement has appeared online, courtesy of Clint Morris at Moviehole. They received word that Teresa Palmer has landed the role of Wonder Woman for the upcoming project. The Adelaide-based newspaper, Advertiser, has also published the same story this morning confirming the casting news. The actress was one of the candidates mentioned in the auditioning list report on October 14, 2007. Palmer's credits (Grudge 2, December Boys & Wolf Creek) may have helped her nudge out the other competition, Minka Kelly and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Other roles that need to be filled by George Miller and Warner Bros include: Superman, Batman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman and The Green Lantern.

This movie continues to get worse, and worse, and worse!!! I could find 100 girls in any Mall, at any time, that look just like her. And if I went to any college, anywhere... looking for a girl with her looks, or better, my chances would go up...100 fold!!!

She's a beautiful girl, but I think they could have continued the search for a better Wonder Woman. They are clearly rushing this movie, which is a very bad idea. *sigh* Looks like the new Batman movies (Batman Begins and The Dark Knight) are going to be the only DC comic turned movie that will be a sure hit. With the exception of Superman 1 and 2 with Christopher Reeve. Hopefully, we're all proven wrong and the movie turns out great, but what are the chances of that!

Wonder Girl!?!?! She can pass of as a decent Cassie Sandsmark... but definitely not as the Amazon Princess!!! If they are really going by that age bracket (judging by her looks), then I think they should have gone for Megan Fox. At least, she exudes that exotic and athletic quality which I think is perfect for an Amazon Warrior. This Palmer girl looks too frail!

I guess this is going to be a daily thing, speculating about these roles. She definitely doesn't fit the role but then again no one rumored so far does.
They could do a lot worse. But I guess we will have to settle for JLA 90210 and by casting the roles so young they ensure that in 10 yers when they're filming part 3 they'll still fit the part.
