Terry Rossio confirms title for third PIRATES film

Screenwriter Terry Rossio has confirmed the title to the upcoming PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN film. The third installment will be titled PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLDS END when it hits theaters on May 25, 2007.

The studio was deciding between "At Worlds End" and "Worlds End," and the former prevailed.

Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, Stellan Skarsg�rd, Jack Davenport, Kevin R. McNally, Lee Arenberg, Mackenzie Crook, Andy Beckwith, Reggie Lee and Chow Yun-Fat all star in the film.

Sweet. Anyone know if this movie's already filmed, or are they filming it now. Wanna start looking for the bootleg way before it comes out in the theater. What pirate wouldn't want a pirated copy?

Fuck that monkeys and typewriter stuff. These films are fantastic. I'm usually the last one to support Disney films but this series has one ingredient sadly missing from many films these days: FUN. Sure they're silly, unrealistic, and over the top, but they're a blast. It's so refreshing after the pretentious garbage being released for the most part these days

Rarely do I see films int the theatre, but I've seen both Pirates films twice in the theatre, and I'll be back for more when the third one ends. Here's hoping they keep at it.

Dude, besides Dax, I don`t think anyone here is arguing with you. I think they are great movies and you are right, FUN, which is more than I can say for alot of other flicks these days. They don't take themselves too seriously.

I was hoping they would continue naming them after the objects that were important in the movies i.e. dead man's chect or black pearl. oh well.
