Testimony of Evil

By: Brian Thomas
Date: Tuesday, November 07, 2006

You may note, as I have, that todays list contains an inordinate number of double, triple, quadruple and quintuple feature sets. I can only assume that this represents an effort on the part of the studios to get gift-ready bargain sets into stores in time for holiday gift guides and the unfortunately inevitable Thanksgiving weekend shopping orgy. In any case, it’s a chance to load up on older features for less dough – and who hates that? Who wouldn’t want the Poison Ivy trilogy in their Christmas stocking?

I could have sworn I saw something that said the 24 season 5 would be on DVD this week? Season 6 starts soon and I would think they would jump on the marketing horsey, and especially for the holiday season.

Brian's correct. And season 6 premiers on Jan. 14. It's on for 2 hours, and then it's on again Jan. 15 for another 2 hours. So, the Dec. 5 street date gives us a month-and-a-half to rewatch season 5. Not that we'll need it. Two days should about do it.

gamera23 • Nov 07, 2006, 01:28pm •

Well, by definition it should take you a day.

Plus I gotta eat, pee, and sleep sometime. We can't all be Jack Bauer.
