Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production house is readying its first film, and its one which should have horror fans fascinated: a remake of Tobe Hooper's 1974 gore classic, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.
What's more, Hooper and his collaborator on the original, Kim Henkel, are writing the remake, though it's not clear if Hooper will be asked to direct. No word on stars as of yet.
