If you're a fan of Osamu Tezuka and you can read Japanese, you've got a lot more material now available to you. The Soba Project is working in conjunction with Tezuka Productions to bring the 400 digital volumes of Tezuka to the iPad. The material was previously released for digital download on computer based systems but now has hit the mobile world for the iPad.

Readers can now access a wide collection of Tezuka's manga titles through an iPad app developed by Soba Project for Apple's tablet computer.

The app is a fee-based service offers registered members unlimited access to the Complete works of Osamu Tezuka library for a monthly charge of 1,050 yen ($13), including tax. It contains about 400 titles penned by Tezuka.

As an added bonus, "Dororo," "Black Jack" and other titles will be released in "motion manga" e-book versions that incorporate voice acting and animation effects.
