A Review in Moderation?

7/8/2007 2:13:31 PM permalink

I am a bit confused on why my last two reviews have been in limbo for two days going on three. Basically I have two reviews that are "waiting for Moderation approval". Last I checked, I have submitted a review with no problem. Am I on some sort sh!t list? Because if I am going to be censored then I do not want to be apart of Mania in any way.
Comments are not moderated (maybe they are, but I have seen some really vulgar comments and they stayed) so why now, do my reviews have to be? This really irritates me. Has anyone else gone through this or feels the same way? I have never waited for my reviews to post. they have always just posted. Is this some new rule mania instilled? So basically, my reviews are going to be "reviewed" and if deemed appropriate then they will be allowed for public view. Yet, whoever deems them inappropriate means I will not be allowed to have them. I would like to know when this started and who the h3ll deems them appropriate or not. Mania is now on my last nerve. I know no one would care if  left, but I am not going to be censored (I do not write inappropriate things anyways) then what is the point of even being here?

I wonder if this Blog will be waiting for Moderation approval? Wouldn't surprise me now.

Superman: The Man of Steel (SR Sequel)

Bryna Singer is to Direct The Mayor of Castro Street after Valkyrie, which would push back the Superman Returns sequel:

"Bryan Singer had previously told us that the "Superman Returns" sequel "Superman: The Man of Steel" would be his next film after "Valkyrie." His producers tell another story. Neil Meron and Craig Zadan have Singer lined up to direct "The Mayor of Castro Street," a story of gay rights activist Harvey Milk, within a year.

"The next Superman, that's a ways off," claimed Meron, with Zadan adding. "Don't worry about it. Trust me. We may even start preproduction on Harvey Milk while he's on post production on the Tom Cruise movie.

I have said it before, Singer will not be doing Superman 2 The Man of Steel. I love the excuses they keep making. He is doing this movie, or that movie. Blah blah.

The fact is, keep delaying, because the longer they delay the better chance of a better director and a better movie coming to theaters. I am fine with news. In fact it makes me quite happy. I know....a select few loved SR. I blame drugs. Because there is no way SR was an emotional and action packed movie. That is like saying Terminator 3 ROTM was nothing but dialogue and very little action.

Oh and lets all pray for a new actress for Lois....because even the SR protectors and praisers hated kate bosworth.....

Spider-man 4

Check out interview MTV did with Sam Raimi in above link.
So Sam Raimi is considering a 4th Spidey and well he wants even more villians in the next movie! I am sorry, but Spidey 3 was a horrible and lackluster movie.. The only reason it made money is because it had a built in fan base.
The interview I would like to see? Why was Spidey 3 so bad? The whole feel of the movie is just wrong. Why was venom so lackluster? Either put him in the movie as a main villian or do what you said you would do and do not ADD venom. You hate Venom and boy does it show in Spidey3!
Man....I love that transformer pic!

The newest trailer is online and I have ot say that I really want to see this movie. When it was first announced, I had some reservations about them making a classic icon. Yes, it has potential, but Michael Bay? Do not get me wrong, he is in no way a bad director, it just seems that he doesn't know how to capture human emotion very well, he does comedy and action really well, emotion, not so much.
Then the pics of the newly re-designed (sometimes COMPLETELY REDESIGNED) transformers characters were surfacing ont he net, not many people were positive about the pics, including me. I am not liking the gay flames added to Optimus prime and Megatron looks like a pile of rocks, he almost looks like doomsday only a bit more retarded. However, seeing the last trailer, I can see why they changed s much and I can see that i works.
The new trailer has me pumped, yes, there are very few Autobots and a butt-load of Decepticons, but that makes for a great story and I have more confidence now that this movie will be HUGE.
Definitely, this movie is more than meets the eye.
