haha, thanks wise!
Pff, page 15, no ones listening... but anyway.
@goldeneyez - I thought his take off reminded me of Goku from Dragonball z rather than neo/matrix.
In dragonball, Goku is also an oprhaned alien posessing a natural strength far beyond humans. In dragonball they try to give his abilities a good explanation. i.e. Chi... & lots of it. You could apply a lot of that fictional theory to superman... including the disturbance around him as he gathers his 'chi?' for flight.
Similarities don't end there... zod & vegeta. The dragonball movie was one of the biggest movie going disappointments I can think of, so much potential totally pissed away... but it looks like I may see some of what I envisioned in a live action dragonball movie from my personal fav instead, big blue :)
Wow, I haven't seen this movie... & i'm not expecting much from it, but really Rob? If you can't write an unbiased objective review, then maybe you need to let someone else do it.
1st paragraph - hate hate hate... nothing about the actual stand alone movie.
2nd para - "Jacob (Tayler Lautner) has apparently imprinted on the child, meaning that he basically gets to eye-fuck a six-year-old for the whole film" mmm strong language, that venomous line really shows his neuatrality to the franchise.
3rd para - "That’s basically the gist of it: there’s a big fight coming and we gotta get ready for it. Of course, Breaking Dawn Part 2 needs to kill 90 minutes of screen time first" Lets face it... that about sums up most action movies... so why can't twilight use this formula as well?
4th para - well actually I won't bother continuing. Like I said, maybe it's an ordinary movie, maybe its not? But reading this review was like watching a Black Vs White Football match with the Tom Metzger refereeing
furthermore, going head to head with avengers 2 is just stupid. They should alternate yearly, that way they get full return $$ out of their flicks & we get at least one awesome team up every year!
Wow, can't help but feel that there approach(especially if rushed) is going to ruin what we've been dreaming about... And yet there is hope! A good script, a good director & a decent budget so as not to tie their hands... you never know :)
It's a shame though, there isn't going to be that awesome feeling you get when characters you've already gotten to know & love interact together.
A indeed. awesome kids movie. i didnt go see it again, 3D interests me very little. i remember seeing a doco with a cinema that had wall to wall screens plus the roof n floor. they included canisters under the seats that released certain smells at the right moment.... perfume, smoke, whatever...(think at a french tech museum) now why didn't this catch on?
imagine seeing the fish actually swim past you or beneath you, with a lovely sea fragrance about you the whole time!
anyway, for me the thing that made this movie stand was that unmistakable aussie accent n humour as marlin got closer to australia :)
Be the first to comment... hmm, well how about - OMG, stop with the f'n zombies & vampire movies!!!! seriously, what's happened to imagination? Why can no one think of something new?
After that rant I must admit i'm kinda interested in what world war z has to offer, but thats it!!!!! lol
I just saw Dark Knight Rises finally... good movie. But at the end, after being treated to the little teases/hints Marvel movies threw in post credits on their movies, I found myself having to imagine my own little scene.(Batmans eyes opening to a white blurr that slowly fades as his eyes re-adjust... finding himself floating above the harbour, he suddenly looks up to see whats stopping him from falling, an arm with a blue sleeve holding onto his own, his eyes widen... end scene)
I definitely think a superman/batman combo is the way to go. Assuming its success, individual Wonderwoman & Flash movies to follow before the big team up. It would be a mistake to go with any more than four or five members. I don't think you can right off individual movies like the flash as bad ideas... I recall many were skeptical of some of the Marvel ones before they hit too.
perhaps the raptors being a pack animal(like wolves) can be raised from birth to be relativlely tame?

@ Axia777. Game of Thrones Season 3 you say? Indeed! Get behind it everyone! Well funded fantasy TV series are rare & much better than movies if done right. So much is missed in the time constraints of a movie...
