Thanks Tim for the review. You might have turned me off to this F.F. reincarnation, seriously Dragon Ball Z Johnny Storm?! I just got The Batman Season 5 and so far its pretty good.

it was adequate... not awful... and not stupendous ~ Robert

In an attempt to save money I put the issue back on the shelf. Figuring the comic store owner was trying to move some product. I really should respect his choices, after all he gave me all the Logan(s) (by Vaughn) in Black and White. I read your review Kurt and ran my ass back to the shop. Thanks for pointing it out. This issue rocks. The only down side is do I read it as it comes out or get it as a hard cover?

hey,

first i want to apologize in the lateness of this, i only just now realized you'd left the comment at my blog

i finally found a technical format for comic books, it's in a .pdf file here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scriptsmart/comicbookfullscreenplay.pdf

I've been studying it this last week and implementing it as i convert "the life and times of igor" into this format

i agree we need some kind of program like Final Draft for these things (so I don't go crazy trying to use it), but I've never actually written any script on Final Draft, just stuck with microsoft word all these years and it served me well

the comic book pdf is only four pages, and is very similar to a mainstream Hollywood script, so if you know that then you're 85% of the way there

yeah, the formatting is annoying on word, but i've been doing it for YEARS now so it really doesn't bother me anymore

years ago I did look for Final Draft or some other program, but since I'm in Arkansas, anything resembling it was nowhere to be found. best buy never even heard of it, so I adapted.

but if indentions are a pain, imagine writing PAGE ONE and then PANEL 1, the scene, any dialogue, then PANEL 2, etc, but the real horror is typing PAGE ONE, PAGE TWO, PAGE THREE and so on cause I lose count and it just screws up my "flow," so to spek...writing is like playing jazz, and all that new formatting is like picking up a brick in the middle of the song and throwing it through a window
