Just a day after showing off a clip featuring a brief glimpse of a certain cameo, Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures have unleashed a third clip for their summer comic adventure, Thor. This latest one features the mighty warrior (Chris Hemsworth) in the hospital with female lead Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) looking to visit. Watch it in the video player down below courtesy of Yahoo Movies.

The action-adventure also stars Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaimie Alexander, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore and Samuel L. Jackson. Helmer Kenneth Branagh led the direction, based on a screenplay by Ashley Edward Miller, Zack Stentz and Don Payne.

Plot Concept: Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, "Thor," which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It's while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Thor strikes down 3D/2D theaters on May 6, 2011.

Why am I getting the feeling that this movie is going to be more comedy than action ?

aucturas 4/9/2011 10:03:01 AM

yeah, all the comedy has me worried too

creekwoodkid 4/9/2011 10:17:49 AM

Suckfest...I'm calling it. My guess is that this and CA will set comic book movies back a good ten years and noone will want to throw money at them anyomore.

Golgothan 4/9/2011 10:49:13 AM

Wow.  Maybe they can cast George Clooney as the next Iron Man.  That should kill any franchise!

violator14 4/9/2011 10:50:30 AM

Well, i think the cool thing about these movies is how they show what it would be like to see our favorite comic book heroes in real life situations. Some of it's gonna be damn funny guys. and im PRETTY sure Thor is not gonna be an all out comedy. I think the producers and the director know that would be retarded as much as we do.

cmon guys a little humor never hurt anything, this is only 47 seconds of a whole movie!!!  There was comedy in Firefly and u geeks loved that overated nathan fillion...Nathan Fillion blows!

Wiseguy 4/9/2011 11:47:12 AM

Oh yeah this is definitely a comedy. You guys catch the short clip of Destroyer, or some of the fight scenes in Asgard, total laugh fest.

MrGarabaldi 4/9/2011 11:56:13 AM

What is everybody concerned about?  They continue to recycle the same comic scenes adding a little here and there, and the amount of footage that is comedic (as far as I can see) is maybe 5 - 10 minutes in a two hour plus film.  I remember the comics having a larger percentage of one liners in them than that.

Wise, as always, is wise.

Violator, is also on the money in my opinion.  This movie is more epic than anything else!!
