I think there is no chance they bring in beta ray bill - but i hope that I am wrong.

Are you ready for a high-profile Marvel Studios sequel in...November? That seems to be the story today in regards to Thor 2. Walt Disney Pictures has shifted some of 2013 features around today and one of those is their highly anticipated follow-up to last summer's hit. The next adventure starring Chris Hemsworth was originally scheduled to arrive in theaters July 26, 2013 but has now been shifted out of the summer schedule to a new premiere on November 15, 2013. There's currently no competition set aside for it in the week prior to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Writer Don Payne is returning to flesh out a screenplay, with Marvel chief Feige describing the sequel's story as "We're going to take Thor literally to other worlds -It will primarily be the journey of that character, of he and Jane Foster and how the new dynamic with his father is working out, as well as what are the broader stakes for The Nine Worlds."
I think there is no chance they bring in beta ray bill - but i hope that I am wrong.
I wonder if the sequels to Iron Man, Captain America and Thor will tie with the Avengers movie
Good move.
As much as I liked Thor and praise its box office success, a lot of it had to do with lack of competition. I seriously think the movie would have made less had it been in the middle of the summer around Transformers and Harry Potter.
Sure there is competition with family/holiday movies but not as much as the summer (like next year's summer lineup)
aegrant, I read somewhere that the sequel will involve other worlds. I think it was the last interview with the new prospective director. So I truly wish for bit of Beta Ray!
Surtur is a fire demon native to the extradimensional plane of Muspelheim land of the fire demons, located on the continent of Asgard, and first appears in the title Journey Into Mystery.[3] The character's first encounter with the Asgardian ruler Odin is told in flashback and establishes their enmity when Surtur is imprisoned by Odin inside the Earth after forming an alliance with the Trolls and trying to destroy the world, although he gives Odin a winged horse, hoping to be released one day.[4] Surtur reappears in the title Journey Into Mystery, having been freed by Odin's adopted son, Loki, who intends to usurp Odin and rule Asgard, having been given a portion of the Odinforce. Together with the Storm Giant Skagg, the character invades Earth, although the pair are met by Odin, his son the Thunder God Thor and fellow Asgardian Balder. Odin stops time and sends every human on Earth to another dimension. Surtur sends Thor into the ccean with a fireball of his. Skagg is saved from sinking into the ocean by Surtur hardening the ground, but is defeated by Odin, who is weakened by the feat. Surtur creates a blazing fireball and travels to the North Pole to melt the icecaps. Using Odin's sword, Thor stops Surtur and traps him on a meteorite of magnetic particles in another galaxy.[5]
It has Midgard, more Odin, super bad ass action, and lots of traveling through many of the upper realms. Personally that was one of my favorite parts of Thor. It felt like a comics version of Lord of the Rings.
They could even make it a two parter for Thor 3!
Could this be his journey thru the 9 realms in orderto save his soul from Hela... Sweetness
@OmegaDean - That would kick ass too!
@SmokingFrog77 - WOulodn't kick ass as a movie? Huge fire demon giants, things blowing up, Odin kicking more ass, and Thor being a GOD. Yep, that would kick ass.
come on longship in space!
