Whats the difference between a boilerplate and sypnosis?

Fancy terms used in the business. Synopsis isn't as catchy!  ;)

It's the exact description that was reported last week with the official synopsis

I liked this better when it was called The Dark Crystal.

 Wise mate, I was confused so that's why I asked. Rock, thanks, I think I'll just start making up words which have the same meaning as something intellectual but make them sound a bit mental.

But as far as "boilerplate" goes it's just a more formal term.

I think the difference here is what comes after the synopsis in the second and third paragraph

 guys, I didn't see a difference either but this is the official synopsis from the studio. We rub their backs and they rub ours... which allows us to bring you more content.

 This isn't a synopsis. It's a Boilerplate.
