'Thor' spoilers revealed. Plus: New 'Kick-Ass' artwork. SMALLVILLE photos and clips. Read THE LOSERS for free. "My own brother, a goddamn, shit-sucking vampire. You wait 'till mom finds out, buddy!" Comics2Film 10.3.11!

Read THE LOSERS For Free

OK, so you've been reading a lot about the film version of 'The Losers' here in your daily Comics2Film. But maybe you haven't gotten around to reading Andy Diggle and Jock's comic, that the movie is based on.

We'd recommend picking up the trade paperback collections and take 'em in one-by-one. They're a great blend of action, heist-style intrigue and political commentary. But if you can't make the commitment for the full trade yet, you can still check out the first issue of the series at the DC Comics website. Just click the "Download Issue #1" link there for a PDF of the series opener.

Odessa Rae as the Silver Banshee on SMALLVILLE

SMALLVILLE's Silver Banshee

The Comics Continuum has a new gallery of images from the "Escape" episode of 'Smallville', airing Friday, April 2. The segment features Odessa Rae as Maggie McDougal, aka the Silver Banshee. We gotta admit, she looks much as she does in the comics.

The episode was written Genevieve Sparling and directed by Kevin Fair.

THOR Spoilers Revealed

Latino Review has posted some very interesting revelations of story points from Marvel's upcoming 'Thor' movie. They're citing "inside sources" here, so C2F advises take things with a grain of salt. However, everything revealed seems plausible based on the things we've heard about the movie.

What are some of the interesting details? Well these could be considered SPOILERS so we're posting them in white type to protect the spoiler-averse. Swipe 'em with the mouse to reveal the secrets...

Marvel crossover reference:

According to the LR, Stellan Skarsgard's Professor Ford character makes mention of a brilliant scientist who is an expert in Gamma radiation. "Somehow S.H.I.E.L.D. made him disappear," the professor says. Obviously a reference to The Hulk and a S.H.I.E.L.D. cover up would have to place after the 2008 movie.

Thor and The Avengers:

LR reveals an end credits scene in which Thor encounters S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent  Coulson (Clark Gregg who first played the character in  'Iron Man'). Thor affirms that "his kingdom of Asgard and S.H.I.E.L.D are on the same side" and pledges to be there when they need him. It has already been confirmed that Coulson makes an appearance in the movie.

The Costume and Hammer:

Directly quoting the insider: "Surprisingly, the costume looks amazing. We could tell early on from the production sketches of costumes and sets that this was going to be something good. It’s just beautiful and the designers really took it to heart. If you look at some of the more recent Thor comics that are out now, the tone and the costuming is that."

Latino Review's sources also lend their opinion of Kenneth Branagh and Chris Hemsworth and the work they've done on the movie so click through for the complete article.

What do you think, Maniacs? Does THOR sound promising? Post your comments below...

HAVE AT THEE, BOX OFFICE!

The more I hear about Thor, the better and better it sounds.  All the 'spoilers' didn't strike me as anything too surprising and it's more of a relief to hear they're doing it right.

Calibur454 3/11/2010 6:47:46 AM

I'll wait for a trailer before commenting further on Thor

Iron man 2 and Kick ass - oh yes I will see

It is good to know now that thwere will be a end credit scene because I hate leaving if there is one and hate staying if there isn't...

Wiseguy 3/11/2010 8:05:12 AM

The ODINSON will rule all next year. Everything sounds good, can't wait to see him in costume or just see him since that isn't a costume to him

THOR sounds great!  Knew it was gonna be good when Branagh signed on.   Really like the direction Marvel is headed in.

SgtTechCom 3/11/2010 9:33:24 AM

Silver Banshee costume looks good just like the comics finally someone is using close to the original look for a TV show and not doing the whole lame leather jumpsuit thing.

Cant wait for Smallville to Return!

Thor's custome better just have the red cape and the traditional helmet.

Also we actually should be busting Smallvilles balls a little and Topless Robot explains why, check out this link http://www.toplessrobot.com/2010/03/really_smallville_really.php

SONYMANswallows 3/11/2010 10:06:24 AM

It does not have to take place afterwards. He says they made him disappear. This is what he knows. Banner may just be on the run and hiding.

It would be nice if they used the SPIRE hole in Chicago. Its a few stories deep and wide by the chicago lakeshore. Its abandonded since they are no longer building the Spire.

Rheul_home 3/11/2010 11:49:03 AM

I wouldnt consider any of the Thor stuff real spoilers. Looks like we're in for a treat. With each marvel film being better than the last I just hope the bubble doesnt burst.
