Three actors hold a GRUDGE

INDEPENDENCE DAY's Bill Pullman, THE FACULTY's Clea DuVall and William Mapother (SWORDFISH) have all been cast in THE GRUDGE. DuVall's inclusion in the horror remake was first reported last week by FilmJerk along with actress Kadee Strickland's involvement (which wasn't reported in today's Hollywood Reporter article).

Using the information provided by both the FilmJerk and Reporter stories, it appears that Pullman's character is an English teacher named Peter. Strickland, if she is still involved with the project, would play DuVall's character's sister.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jason Behr star in the supernatural thriller. Filming gets underway later this month.
