Cassel, Ryder and Hershey join Darren Aronofsky's supernatural thriller.

Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis will have some company in Darren Aronofsky's upcoming supernatural thriller Black Swan. Peter Sciretta at /Film reports the film has added Winona Ryder, Vincent Cassel and Barbara Hershey to the film which centers on supernatural events taking place in the New York City Ballet.

Plot Concept: A supernatural thriller set in the world of New York City ballet, the story centers on a veteran ballerina (Portman) who finds herself locked in a competitive situation with a rival dancer (Kunis), with the stakes and twists increasing as the dancers approach a big performance. But it's unclear whether the rival is a supernatural apparition or if the protagonist is simply having delusions.

 Aronofsky better step it up. I can't believe I sat and watched the entire movie of The Fountain. 

I do agree he has quite a visionary style to his films and the only movie from him that I really want to see is this supposed RoboCop reboot he would be directing.....

It's nice to hear something else about this film other than the supposed girl on girl action Portman and Kunis are supposed to get into in this.  Not that that isn't news in itself

The Fountain was a bit difficult to get through but the amazing style and effects were enough to keep me interested.  And that was sandwiched between Requeim and the Wrestler, two great films, so I can forgive him for a mediocre film and look forward to this one.
