Three more LOST Casting Additions

Not really a lot going on this afternoon in the world of genre news. Still, some shows have got some new cast members jumping aboard according to TV Guide and Eonline. Lance Reddick, Jeremy Davies & Rebecca Mader have joined the cast of ABC's LOST for next season. Lance Reddick (who starring in The Wire and Hbo's Oz) will be playing an intimidating corporate recruiter named Arthur Stevens, says TV Guide. Eonline is also reporting that Jeremy Davies (Saving Private Ryan) will be getting a recurring role in eight episodes next season though not much is known of his character. Rebecca Mader is also joining the show as a major recurring character as well.

Not sure about Mader, but Reddick and Davies are great actors.

Sweet! New Others to appear at the Temple that they mentioned on Season 3. Davies will probably have to do with some of the Other Others that are on the boat.
I'll go on and take a guess and say the Davies character will be linked to the return of Michael.

Why do they have to be others? Couldn't they be people in LA or Sydney at this point?

Well they say they are recurring roles. Since everything takes place on the island, I'm not sure they could be somewhere else. Although I don't know how a corporate guy fits in to the mix. Anyway To be a recurring flashfoward or flashback character, then they would have to be linked to many of the castaways, since each episode is about one specific character.
Thats why I think they are others and new others.

I really don't think that everything this season is going to take place on the island (though I expect will see it or at least feel its impact in every episode). New recurring cast members for this show makes me very happy, even though the only one I'm familiar with is Davies.

Can't delete the double post so I'll just add my edit here: I think the corporate exec played by Reddick will almost certainly have connections to whoever's on Not Penny's Boat.
