THUNDERCATS #1, EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN #1 sell out

Two new WildStorm Productions books, THUNDERCATS #1 and LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN VOLUME 2 #1, are sold out at DC Comics, the publisher has reported.

"We took aggressive positions on both books," says Bob Wayne, DC's vice-president - sales and marketing, "with the goal of having them in stock for a 30-day sell-through period. Luckily, that's how it worked out!"

"Fan reaction to both projects has been satisfying," says Jim Lee, WildStorm's Editorial Director, "But not entirely surprising. We've been excited about THUNDERCATS since the creative teams were chosen. And LEAGUE? Well I'm one of the lucky ones who have been able to watch it as it progresses and it was clear Alan (Moore) and Kev (O'Neill) were delivering another hit."
