Remaking a WWII movie about Nazis? Well, be sure to grab at least one German actor! That's what director Quentin Tarantino, Universal Pictures and The Weinstein Company have just done for Inglorious Bastards, though the actor will be playing a good guy in the flick. HR is reporting that German actor Til Schweiger, who's just wrapped up his role as Jack Carver in Uwe Boll's adaptation of Far Cry, is joining fellow cast members Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, Daniel Bruhl, Eli Roth, Mike Myers, Michael Fassbender, B.J. Novak, Samm Levine and Paul Rust.

Previous roles from Schweiger include King Arthur and Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
Schweiger will play a member of the Nazi killer team, headed by Brad Pitt's character, Lt. Aldo Raine. Diane Kruger's role has been revealed as the glamorous German actress who ends up helping the Nazi hunters infiltrate a movie premiere.

Production is scheduled to begin October 13 in Germany with Tarantino hoping to premiere the film at next May's Cannes Film Festival.

He's going from Boll to Tarantino. That's someone who has seen both ends of the spectrum. So after his Boll film gets killed maybe he'll receive some kudos for Tarantino's.

Uwe Boll's Far Cry? I take it that's based on the video game. I will safely assume it's fucking shit!
Far Cry yet no GoW? Sad little world we live in.

Speakin of God of War, that full retard Bret Ratner wants to make a Guitar Hero movie. Feel free to reread that sentence to fully comprehend what Ratner wants to do. If that's not bad enough, he's still talking about God of War.

WTF? A guitar hero movie? How in the world would that work and who would give a rat's ass about it in the first place?

Exactly my thoughts. He mentioned something about the plot having a kid win a Guitar Hero competition. Maybe it's like "The Wizard" movie or some shit like that. I have no idea and you are right, no one gives a rat's ass about a GH movie.
I read the story a few days ago on an MTV link. Makes me sick.

Hey, come on now. South Park did an AWESOME Guitar Hero episode, so it can be done (not that i want it to or would wath it). And besides, we all know A Rock Band movie would be the way to go. I first remember seeing this dude in that mnovie Driven with Sly. He's not bad.

I’m with Whiskey – Guitar Hero will rock! Down on his luck bluesman needs to win the GH championship to get money for his grandma’s operation but just can’t handle all the color coordinated guitar playing so he makes a deal at a crossroads with the Devil to win the championship then has to out Guitar Hero the Devil himself in the finale! Ratner will seamlessly include every single track that has ever appeared in any Guitar Hero game ever plus a track called The Kitchen Sink. Run time will be 80 minutes. There is no way this will fail.
