It's fitting that at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Whittier, Calif., a franchise is rising from the dead and taking no prisoners. It's a hot spring day as Arnold Schwarzenegger emerges from a crypt wielding machine guns and carrying a casket on his shoulders.
It's no surprise that a hail of gunfire follows.
Yes, the Terminator franchise is back with T3: RISE OF THE MACHINES, one of the year's most anticipated sequels. Sure, original series co-creator and director James Cameron may be missing in action, but taking over the reins is Jonathan Mostow a filmmaker who knows a thing or two about action, having been behind the lens of the taut thrillers BREAKDOWN and U-571.
