Fox Home Entertainment plans to release The Time Tunnel: Volume Two DVD Collection on June 6, 2006. The episodes are compiled on four discs and are presented in the original full screen color (aspect ratio 1.33:1) with English and French stereo and Spanish mono sound and subtitles in English and Spanish.
The Time Tunnel: Volume Two DVD Collection is a science-fiction/fantasy created by Irwin Allen ("Lost In Space," "Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea"). It features the final episodes of the science-fiction series, as well as interviews with the cast, a still gallery and Time Travelers, Irwin Allen's 1976 movie of the week.
The series synopsis reads: "THE CONTROL OF TIME IS POTENTIALLY THE MOST VALUABLE TREASURE THAT MAN WILL EVER FIND." Or so believe the scientists of Project Tic Toc. Located beneath the Arizona desert, the ten-year project's focus is the feasibility of time travel. But when the government reconsiders the project, the scientists have only 24 hours to prove their untested "Time Tunnel" will actually work. Determined to save the project, Dr. Tony Newman and Dr. Doug Phillips go through the tunnel and quickly find themselves catapulted from one historical event to another, barely escaping with their lives as their colleagues back in Arizona race to figure out a way to bring them back home.
The DVD will reail for $39.98 U.S./$54.98 Canada
