Never played the game, but I like Olyphant as an actor. He plays a great badass. Wasn't Uwe Boll attached to direct this at one time? Or am I just thinking of Postal? I've seen commercials for the game, and it looks a lot like every movie Steven Segal's made in the last few years.

Uh oh. You had to say it, didn't you wes? Ok, people... Commence Uwe Boll bashing!

Uwe Boll is hack and thank god he isn't involved in this. I loved the games. So I'm hopeful that a faithful adaption will be made, but will remain skeptical until I know more.

Sorry I mentioned the "B" word! What's the gist of Hitman? Is he just a hitman on a mission, or is there more to the story than that? Anything special to set it apart from the plethora of similar-themed movies? Wasn't the character in the game bald? I wonder if Olyphant will shave his head for the role. I remember how big of a deal it was back in the day when Persis Khambata shaved her ehad for Star Trek TMP.

Will this have a lithsome dangerous ingenue as all Luc Besson movies seem to have? What's his fascination with Lolitas gone Wild?...and really, really bad European techno music as a soundtrack? I'm into imported techno but his movies....pee yew....

Luc Besson? Great. That means some third rate French director will be helming this crapfest in the making.

But I have faith on Vin dieseil. Usually when is involve in a movie is the executive producer. So i beleive he have enough taste for make the movie better than the recent steven seagal movie....Just because we mention that fat guy, i just saw the last DVD attack force....there is no word for describe that kind of movie, D serie with no figth and somebody else speacking for steven, even not his voice !!! so bad...Unbeleivable !

Hitman is a great game if played correctly. Each board design elaborate Hits to use disquises, poisons, and a garotte to get Silent Kills.. You can beat the game easily if you just go through with heavy weapons and killing everyone from the guards to the servants but the true skill and fun is doing it the way it was designed.. I hope the movie incorporates those kind of Hits and not just be a Shoot em up movie..
