The TNT cable network has ordered up and additional 13 episodes of their WITCHBLADE TV series. The original cable series has done very well for the network, with word having it that it has resulted in a ratings leap of 64% for the network for the same slot a year ago.
The series stars Yancey Butler as New York police detective Sara Pezzini, who gains possession of a mystical weapon called the "Witchblade."
The program is based on the Image/Top Cow comic series of the same name.
