X-Men: Days of Future Past will strike theaters on May 23, 2014
So let me get this right. Rogue (Anna Paquin) has been cut from X-Men: Days of Future Past, but Toad has made the final cut? MTV News is reporting that the mutant Toad will be in X-Men: Days of Future Past. However, he will be the younger version of Toad and not the one played by Ray Park. Evan Jonigkeit (The Gift) will now play the character. MTV News has an interview with Jonigkeit on being in the film, posted below. Jonigkeit does state that the film has a darker tone.

Synopsis: This latest chapter in 20th Century Fox's X-Men saga stars Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Jonigkeit, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry and Daniel Cudmore. Singer is back behind the camera.

Plot Concept: The film is based on the comic book storyline "Days of Future Past," which ran in Uncanny X-Men #141 and 142 back in 1981 during Chris Claremont and John Byrne's run and introduced the idea of an alternate future for Marvel's mutants that grew out of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killing an important senator, leading to a future where all mutants are hunted by Sentinels.

X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives May 23, 2014.

Why? Toad was in his late 20's in the X-Men movie when he first appeared. How are they going to fit him and make it make sense? I do not understand. Also, why do they even care about Toad? He is a lame villain.

Many of these appearances will probably amount to a extended cameo given all the characters involved.

Still glad to see Paquin out.

These movies stopped making sense or obeying a sense of continuity a while ago.  In a world of constant reboots, I CANNOT understand why this thing is still flopping around in its death throes.  Let's start it over and do it right, already!

What?? Toad is lame, Fox handling of the Xmen is lame. Please, please make a deal with marvel and give there rights back so us fan boys can have a good Xmen movie. At first I was saying, give Singer a chance, he did make the best Xmen movies. After hearing how he is gonna mess up one of the greatest Xmen stories im  done defending him. I a big Xmen fan, I've wiated so long to see my fav Xmen story on the big screen and Fox is turning it into a big steaming pile of cow dung:(

Wouldn't it at least make sense for FOX to have some kind of Marvel consultant to help them to get this stuff right? If FOX is going to hold onto this franchise - which they should, if it's making them money - then Marvel should at least offer them some help and they should be happy to take it... It seems beneficial to all parties involved to do something like that.

Let's assume there is a script, and a director that might just might know which cuts need to be kept, and which can be saved for the Blueray version shall we?

This movie is going to make or break the franchise. I mean, seriously, why even watch an APOCOLYPSE film after this if they are meant to be connected? A mid credit scene would bring me back if this movie sucks.. The Wolverine was ok.. better than I thought. But THIS film has to be EPIC. Avenger scale. They have had their time and movies to dish out a complete universe. I thought I was suppose to care about X-Men?

I almost want it to fail so that it may be rebooted in the coming decade.

I meant to say a mid credit scene would not even bring me back.

Im hopeful, but for me this is their last chance
