Tobin Bell Set For REPO

Actor Tobin Bell has just finished the 4th installment of the SAW franchise with director Darren Lynn Bousman and has entered the post production stages. SAW IV hits theaters this October. When asked by MTV what was next on his immediate horizon, Bell confirmed that he would be working with the same director again on REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA.

"'Repo' [is] my next film and it's a rock opera," Bousman said. "There is definitely camp to it, but it is much more serious than the 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show.. It is more violent than 'Saw' too; in fact, it makes all of the 'Saw' movies look like Disney films."

I don't think any film can make the SAW movies look like Disney films, Tobin. The HOSTEL series comes close but it still seems like a bit of a stretch to say that. Then again, prove me wrong.

Cop Rock WAS a horror show,,,,,,very scary stuff,,,,,,this sounds like it could be very cool,,,,,I have not been let down by the Saw movies yet, so I'll keep an eye out for this......a little off tpic, but tis reminded me of it....does anyone know what happend to "Southland Tales" ? I was looking forward to it, then it seemed to just go away.

Aww, come on! I really can't wait for Cop Rock to be released on DVD. It's like Battlefield Earth - you can't believe you're watching something so bad that it becomes entertainining.

As for Repo, I'm not sure I would be interested in checking it out. I have no desire to see Saw 4, and a musical version of it interests me even less.

Phew. From the headline I thought Tobin had been cast as Otto in a Repo Man remake.
