RC was normal sized compared to the regular autobots, and SHE was supposed to be in the first movie but they didnt want to explain why only one female was present so they cut her out.Im more curious as to who they are going to get to counter Devastator. Since the Dino-Bots were created to combat him and theyve already stated they wont be putting them into this sequal. Im hoping for Jetfire, the only autobot to die in the original cartoon.

actually metal your not that far off on your plot vs the one with the grown up goonies kids. only you reversed who was going to save who. It is rumoured that the children go on an adventure and get into trouble and only the original goonies must reunite and help save them.

yeah that was the one in that ended in the amusement park. and the reason you probably felt that "Toys in the Attic" seemed like the Twilight Zone was that it was an ode to horror and sci-fi films and television shows.

"Toys in the Attic" is the title of the episode with the blob, and it wasnt Spike that ate it in the end, it was Ed. Spike tried to pull a Signourney Weaver and eject it out the airlock. As for my favorite episode, besides the final 2 is either "Mushroom Samba"....stupid frog.... or "Pierrot Le Fou".... ITS SHOW TIME.

The director has always stated that the reason for the ending is he wanted it to have a definitive ending. Which in my opinion it has the best anime ending ive ever seen. Hands down Cowboy Bebop is my all time favorite anime tied with Last Exile. And if you have ever wondered of checking out just one anime, CB is the one you should.

i dont know about this. love the guy and all his movies, but if they are trying to cast a 28 year old as kirk, isnt Simon Pegg a bit to old for this cast. Scotty may have been older then kirk in the show and movies, but not that much older.

if theyve made 4 games, and a 5th one on the way, all with mature rating (meaning your supposed to be 17 to purchase them). then they have to have a good enough following to warrant making these games. So why even think about aiming this movie at a PG-13 crowd. It just gives parents and the censors more reason to bitch about violence in games and movies since odds are if the kids like the movie they are going to want to play the games.

sounds like they are trying to do the samething as "TMNT". Give it a fresh new updated look, keep the original fans happy, and introduce it to the newer generations. Mckraken- Battle of the Planets should be out before Thundercats, its been in production for a few months already. They are going to be using the original name though, Gatchaman. Robotech probably wont be out till 2010, Tobey Maguire only made the announcement that he wanted to make this last month. And im guessing it will be live action/CG, not full CG like the other 2 movies.

Hals was doing his thing from 1959 till he unfortunately went nuts and went evil. And then he was even more powerful by becoming Parallax. And even after that he was even more powerful by becoming death himself "the Spectre". Im guessing color has nothing to do with why people are saying go with Hal. If you want to point your finger at anything, it would age that is the reason people are saying Hal. Betting all the Hal posts are people who grew up in the 80s and all the John Stuart posts are people in the 90's and beyond.

ahhh your talking about the guy who plays Teal'c (Christopher Judge). Yeah he could pull off John Stuart. Also IF they are doing an Origin movie and showing these heroes meeting for the first time, and creating the team. Then why not have Hal Jordan as GL instead of John Stuart.

about the SG-1 guy, was just saying he would make a good casting for Hal Jordan if they ever went that route. Also the only reason John Stuart is ALWAYS shown as GL is because the cartoon used him instead of Hal. That is due in part that when the cartoon was made Hal Jordan had already gone bad and tried killing all of the entire DC universe.

Kitt already could somewhat transform, that was his super pursuit mode. Dont really see him transforming to much of aproblem, as long as he doesnt change into a robot. Perhaps from a car to a plane or something along thoe lines would be cool, but that just reminds me of M.A.S.K.

jpp - completely agree with you. show is almost a complete rip off of Jake 2.0, except instead of the NSA its the FBI and the CIA. ALso Jake 2.0 was a far superior show then Chuck is.

i can see gambit making it, since he was supposed to be in X3 but his part was cut. Deadpool would be great, but marvel sounds like they want him to have his own movie. could see Alpha Flight in some form, since they are who found wolverine wandering around in canada after the weapon x program anyway. Im hoping they show wolverine working with team x. Maverick, wolverine, and sabertooth. But that was the CIA that created this team so probably not going to happen. Since the weapon X program is supposedly going to be in this, the one character i can definately see being in this is Cyber. They need someone to go toe to toe with wolverine and since it sounds like sabertooth isnt going to be it, Cyber is perfect for the role.

Supposedly there was a rumour running around back when Superman Returns was about to be filmed that Tom Welling was going to do it, but then they got Brandon right before he was signed, so not very suprised by this. So since this happening, whos going to play Batman, and start sending the Wonder Woman castings my way.

sounds like one side or both sides of this dispute are realizing that this movie will never be made. Either way this is a good step in the right direction if they can kiss and make up and get this movie done. Anyone know what Jacksons working on right now, if they do make up is he free to start working on this right away? Maybe sneek it in for a 08 christmas release or 09 summer if all goes well.

Also not sure on how many Voltrons there were but I beleive the Lions american storyline said that it started out as one robot but a witch or some sort of sorceress broke it into 5 parts (the 5 lions) to hide it. The Giant Robot made up of many small vehicles came after the Lions, or at least in the american storyline, it was made by the Earth Force Alliance to protect earth since Voltron was on aries and couldnt get there. Eventually it did show up in the final episodes of the lion series to help them out.

the lions voltron first episode the 5 guys started on earth as part of the earth defense force. They were sent to aris to find and bring back Voltron to fight Zarkons ro-beasts. If they do this on earth they will ruin the entire storyline and might as well just shoot themselves in the head now and save the money and time. What they going to do, have Princess Aurora be Princesss of New York or Mexico, hey why not get Uwe Bowle to direct if you want it that way, has oscar written all over it.

TayDor- totally agree, in the book there was never another teleporter, and no secret government agency called Paladins tracking jumpers. As far as the kid new he was the only one. They also seem to be changing the fact that it was his father beating him that causes his first jump, not a drowning. Another change is that he already knows Millie, and were childhood friends. In the book they meet in New York and didnt know each other before that.

actually liked this book, so kind of dont like that they are saying his mother is already dead. she was the whole reason he went to new york in the first place, to try and find her. And adding a whole new character that can do the samething as him just plain dumb, should have left the story alone.

ive got a sneaking suspicion that this movie is going to be one huge flashback. There was a Star Trek book that came out right after Generations, that has Spock going to where Picard buried Kirk at the beginning of the book. My guess is they are either going to do that, and have Spock at Kirks grave and remembering how they first met OR Have Spock on his death bed remembering how he met his old friends of the Enterprise.

in Origin they showed that yes, he was born with the claws. But he accidentally killed Rose (who looks identical to Jean), the girl he was in love with. Since this was so traumatizing to him, his healing factor actually healed over the memories of this happening and he lost his human side and ran off into the woods of canada with a pack of wolves. This would explain why, anytime something so traumatic happens to him that he cant handle, his healing factor just heals over it as if he is damaged and repairs it, wiping his memory clean. Also in regards to what someone said about the claws growing. They didnt grow, they grew back. Cyber broke the three claws on one of his hands, while they were bone, in one of the issues after magneto leeched the adamantium out of him. They eventually grew back.

my question is this, which comic line are they going to try and follow, Marvels, or Devils Due. Since some of the Transformers plotline followed Dreamwaves remake, im hoping they go with Devils Due. But if they go with something new, do a new origin story set in present time, when terrorism is at its highest and a new military group is made to combat it (G.I.JOE). This way you can introduce all the characters without aging them to old, and can have it that they go up against real terrorists to find out that they are all being secretly run by an unknown orginization (Cobra).
