Hanks and Gary Goetzman will produce the flick for New Line after the studio won the auction rights to the property.

Plot Concept: Centers on the true story of Edward Arnold Chapman, a career criminal who spied on the Germans for the British in WWII

I love the fact that Hanks is doing all this WWII stuff but he`s becoming like Oliver Stone and living in the same decade.

Then again, I rather he stick to this then do another movie like DaVinci Code.

I`m still waiting for that Bosom Buddies movie, Tom!

When is Hanks next movie coming out? The Charlie Wilson story or something I think is called.
I like Hanks producing but I wish he was in the news for starring in more films.

Isn't it weird how Hollywood seems to cycle back to familiar genres over the years. For instance World War II movies were big in the 50s and 60s and then laid dormant for a while until Saving Private Ryan really brought them to prominence. Since then more and more World War II films have emerged. Heck, more war films period. Saving Private Ryan opened the door for all of those movies.

Personally I would like to see Hanks get back to doing a comedy or two. Were is Bachelor Party 2? He has close to 6 films in Pre-production already! Come on! Bring on a comedy!
