I like tom hardy so im good with him in batman 3 but personally I'd love to see bane as the villian. of course robin would have to be introduced first and I doubt that would happen for a long time. Perhaps hardy could play mr freeze but it is doubtful. I think Nolan would want to contiue to use the reality style angle as much as he could... im actually stumped at who the villian might be

Tom Hardy was freaking awesome in Bronson, so I'm excited to see his name attached to Batman 3. I still think Joseph Gordon Levitt is a good choice too, though. Either way, good news!

I'm totally looking forward to Rhys Ifans as the Lizard. That is a perfect role for him. And we need a new villain for Spidey. I'd be ok with the Green Goblin because you know Marc Webb will bring a fresh approach to the character, but I'd rather see a new character completely.

Superman: I WANT BRAINIAC! No Zod. It's been done before. Brianiac or Darkseid. Or Brainiac AND Darkseid. Those are my choices.

I heard about ththe Tom Hardy story this afternoon on the radio, here in London. From what was, he will be playing a lead role, so its most likely a villain. He was awesome in Bronson. He's actually pretty damn good in everything I have seen him in, so good choice.

I'm looking forward to this Green Lantern, animated series especially if they do a Blackest night  arc.

I like Tom Hardy, but I think Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be quite good as The Riddler if that is who the villian will be.

On a little aside to the Superman news, says that talked to Brandon Routh.  Routh says, "Thomas Tull, head of Legendary pictures, had sent him some super duper Physical Trainer to get him into full on SUPERMAN shape again."  Don't know how truthful this is but I thought it would be interesting to pass along especially since Zack Snyder already said that he doubted Routh would ever wear the tights again.

I'm still not sold on the Spider-Man reboot, but the news of the Lizard being the villain is good news.  I never really bought the Venom rumors.  One of Sony's goals in making a reboot is to wash the taste of Spider-Man 3 out of our mouths, and reusing the villain from that piece of garbage wouldn't have helped.

I know Nolan likes to take his sweet time announcing details, but I would *love* for an official announcement to happen as to who the villain(s) will be in the next Batman.  Mostly because I'm sick of all the rumors.  I don't know if the Riddler thrills me, but it would be nice to see Nolan do a better take on the character than Jim Carrey's scenery chewing in Batman Forever.

I think Tom Hardy would make a way cooler Riddler than Joseph Gordon-Levitt although he would do a great job as well. My favorite Tom Hardy performance is still Praetor Shinzon in Star Trek Nemesis. He is a bad-ass actor.

The only villian i can think of for hardy that would really do him any type of justice would be clayface. A master of disguise type villian going up against batman in the type of universe that nolan has built would be a perfect fit

The Tom hardy news both excites me and disappoints me. It disappoints me because I was expecting Mad Max 4 to be his next film, and I absolutely can't wait for that.

However, I love me some Tom Hardy and wish more than anything he was playing Batman himself instead of Bale. I do have a feeling he will be a villain we haven't seen on film before. My guesses are (in order) Black Mask, Deadshot, or possibly even Deathstroke, which would be a bit off model for the character, but would be awesome beyond belief.
