Producer Larry Gordon has been talking about the challenges ahead in creating a sequel to last summer's LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER.
While talking to Entertainment Weekly, Gordon claims to have found a script for the second installment that meets Angelina Jolie's requirement of being "100 times better" than the first film's. But the recent war situation has caused an additional problem. Gordon explains, saying, "We have a script, and Paramount wants to make it, but people not wanting to shoot overseas is now more of a concern."
Gordon also admits that he's nervous as well, saying, "I'm very concerned about the safety of the crew, of me and Lloyd [Levin, his producing partner], and Angelina, and everyone else. If something happens in the world and things get worse and you can't fly, well, you can't fly."
EW reports that Paramount declined to comment on the project, which Gordon and company are looking to get fast tracked.
