Man, this day is too of my favorite directors AND one of my favorite all time comediennes passed...Phyllis Diller, passed away at 95 years old today.  Even in recent years she appeared on Family Guy and Robot Chicken...I'll miss her.

Shac, checkout his BMW short movie while you are at it, Beat The Devil.  It's on youtube if you haven't seen it.

So I guess when Michael Bay kills himself everybody will do a marathon of Transformers.

Mythos 8/20/2012 2:45:23 PM

yes vinjoy and they will say he was perhaps the most artistic directors of all time....

hanso 8/20/2012 2:47:32 PM

I'd watch Bad Boys and The Rock not Transformers.

Mythos 8/20/2012 2:54:24 PM

Yeah, I think Tony had a few more credible movies than Bay. True Romance is a classic. Bay would have looked at the script for that movie or even a film like crimson tide for that matter and said there is way too much talking.  Hanso I have the first series of BMW shorts on DVD. I had forgot he directed one. Going to check that out. Thanks.

SarcasticCaveman 8/20/2012 3:34:58 PM

Yeah, Crimson Tide would have had explosions under water if Bay had done it.

What a shame. Sorry to see him go.

At least he's heading off to eternity with a class act funny lady- I'm sure that Phyllis Diller can help Tony's soul find the humor that eluded him at the end.

What you called a rant jedibanner, was merely a comment.  They are two different things.
