The Crow sucked, The Sixth Sense was way better than 12 Monkeys and you made The Matrix #1 after clearly stating that Dark City was better.  Nice list, guys.

wallyrus, of course these things are all opinion based, but I wrote the article and stand behind my choices. I thought Sixth Sense and 12 Monkeys were too close to really declare a definitive winnerI, but I never "clearly" stated that Dark City was better than the Matrix. I simply stated that many fans feel it is. It was a pretty short 3 paragraph wriote up, but you may want to reread it - for clarity purposes. Nice sarcasm though, guy.
 

The Matrix was a huge rip off of so many books and other movies it is really pathetic.  It being at #1 is an insult to movies that are much more original.  The Matrix ripped off everything written by William Gibson(starting with Neuromancer), Snow Crash by Neal Steaphonson, lots of stuff by Phillip K Dick, and last but not least Ghost In The Shell(the manga and the movie).  The Matrix was also ruined past the point of anjoyment for me for the fact that the last two movies are huge steaming piles of cow crap.  Strange Days is a better movie than the Matrix.  Dark City is a better and more original movie than the Matrix.  So is 12 Monkies.  There are lots of better and more original movies from the 1990's.
