Similar to their top twenty manga properties list, ICv2 also works up what properties are causing all the buzz during a particular quarter from the Videoscan lists, Diamond Distribution and conversations with retailers. Theses properties tend to be the more mainstream ones that garner attention outside of fandom circles as well as crossover hits pushed by the Hollywood side of the field. So it's little surprise that the Batman: Gotham Knight release took the top spot. Old familiars are in there as well but it's good to continue to see some new things in there like Devil May Cry and Vexille.
