While I'm as passionate about Tron toys on my shelf as the next guy, I have an old school light cycle and 1 figure,open, but in nice shape, the new Tron figures, well, kinda bite the big one. A single light in the chest for the 3 3/4 inch? These should have been made with fiber optic lights in the body for that real glowing effect. And the large size figures are just too clunky, and unfortunately the "moving, talking" holgram faces just dont look very good. The voice chip is nice, but not exactly ground breaking. Of all the new toys only Flynn's lightcycle will probably end up on my shelf, open of course, and maybe when they end up in the clearance bin, with a "old" Flynn standing beside. We need some all around improvement on this line if it is to have any legs in the coming year.

Oh, and the best Tron toy in my opinion is the old Tomy Tron light cycle LED mini-arcade game. I found that at a flea market for $25 about 10 years ago, and it remains of the best collectibles I own.

 I wonder what happened to my original Tron figures and Light Cycles?  I loved those.  My mother must have thrown those away, along with my He-Man figures.  :(

This list isn't complete without mentioning the forthcoming entries by Hot Toys.  They've got a light cycle coming out that is screen accurate to the tiniest detail, lights and all.
