Top Cow, the comic studio and entertainment developing company, has snatched up a science fiction action pitch called FALLEN ANGEL.
The concept by William Zide will tell the story of an archangel who is tossed out of heaven after a rebellion. Rather than wallow in hell, the angel chooses to redeem himself with good deeds on earth.
As a result of the deal, Top Cow now owns the comic book, movie and television rights to the concept. While talking to Variety, Top Cow's Chris Carlisle spoke of the project, saying, "This project fits perfectly into Top Cow's model of franchise management: Developing 'high-concept' worlds and franchiseable characters that have commercial potential on multiple entertainment platforms."
