Out of last week's broadcast genre programming, the first part of CBS' JIM HENSON'S JACK AND THE BEANSTALK: THE REAL STORY scored the higest in ratings, landing the 29th slot in overall programming.
Fox's THE SIMPSONS returned, taking the second spot, followed by CBS' own returning THE AGENCY. And despite strong Sunday night competition from JACK, ABC's ALIAS still landed the genre 4th slot.
Down in the pack, ENTERPRISE edged SMALLVILLE, even though the latter looks to have had about 100,000 more viewers. Chalk this one up to the arcane Nielsen ratings system.
In overall ratings, CBS' THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW: SHOW STOPPERS special took the top spot from EVERYONE LOVES RAYMOND.
In showing the week's genre top ten, we also include, in parenthesis, additional necessary info. The first stand alone figure in parenthesis is that show's ranking in the week's overall programming. Then, after the title of the program, the second group of numbers means as follows: (Viewers in millions/Rating/Share)
