Producers David Michel and Vincent Chalvon-Demersay are looking to bring their TV show TOTALLY SPIES to the big screen.

Planned as a $7 million feature, the film would center around the trio of spies, whose secret weapons include laser lipstick and drill stilettos. It will recount the back story of the high- school girl spies and show how they met along with how they became spies.

Season five of the TV show is being worked on.

"Season five of the show is in production" This site needs an editor!
How does 'Totally Spies' make it to 5 years while shows like Justice League, Invader Zim, Teen Titans, Batman Beyond, Megas XLR all get canned sooner??

1 - other than Teen Titans, it appeals to a younger audience.
2 - it appeals to girls more than any of the others you listed, dave

I've never done any research on it, and have never watched the show, but the character design reminds me strongly of Blue Monday, a comic by Chynna Clugston-Major. They even both have a girl named Clover. Coincidences, I'm sure, but still had me interested enough to want to watch it (never have) but I've heard it is pretty episodic and very fluffy.

I ask instead why Pokemon, One Piece, or Naruto are so popular but other anime fails.

'tis true they do appeal to guys more than girls. I should say a girl turned me onto Zim, and that Justice League was arguably more girl-centric than it appears. In fact, I believe the gal heros and villains get the same amount of screentime.
I have seen the show...as an animator, it was rather forgettable. I think this is an american-based anime-looking show.
Bring back MEGAS! And change spongebob's voice back to season 1 era!

Wow. The screen capture still has the cursor arrow in the middle.
I'm just sayin', is all...
