"Toy Story 3" Release Pushed

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the release date for the upcoming sequel, Toy Story 3, has been pushed back to 2010.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are expected to lend their voices once more, as well as John Ratzenberger.

Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine) will write the script.


KJ's Take:  Don't ever rush Pixar.  They need time, give them time.

agree, pixar so far has been on a good streak so no need to rush on toy story just so they can make more money out of it

And part of me thinks "couldn't they just use the 3D models from the last movie and...."

But then I think "I am struggling in my 3D animation class at school and it's taking forever to get my model looking right and rigged correctly and THEN I can finally start animating...."

So, yeah, take your time Pixar, I understand.

I'm happy that they are making a Toy Story 3 and I don't mind if they push the release date to make it good. However, Toy Story 2 is like Godfather II in terms of sequels so I doubt they can make a better film than that one.

When was it supposed to come out? That's only 3 years away and we will have other Pixar movies before then.
