Someone get a straightjacket. Captain Jean-Luc Picard has just entered the asylum. Well, Art Asylum, that is.
Known in the toy industry for its intensity and carnival-like attitude, Art Asylum has always been at the forefront of the action figure renaissance. The Brooklyn, N.Y.-based company made some big strides in 2001 with the release of its Eminem figure, a CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON line, and a rather unique N' the Box assortment of rock stars Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Ozzy Osburne. The inmates recently jumped up to mainstream levels, however, after snagging the license to create toys on the entire STAR TREK franchise.
